Depression and Panic attacks together with physical symptoms:

I would like to send my thanks and recommend highly the work of Perizat Hamdy. She is a very experienced Energy Healing Therapist, she specializes in Jin Shin Jyutsu (Acupuncture without needles), EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques, Pranic Healing and Quantum Touch.

We are very fortunate to have such a wise, wonderful lady working among us. She has greatly relieved me from the anxiety, panic attacks and claustrophobia that I had been suffering from recently, which also had affected my appetite and had made me very depressed.

Over a very short period of intense sessions she was able to calm my system, relieve the anxiety and help me start to deal with the issues that led up to this build up of tension. And more recently she has also helped relieve pain that I recently had from a trapped nerve in my back.

Not only has she helped me with my list of ailments she has guided and taught me her methods so that I can continue to heal myself and live a happier fuller life. I believe that these therapies are something that we can all benefit from.

Depression, panic attacks accompanied by physical symptoms:

I first approached Perizat Hamdy after an exhausting period in my life. Several personal issues had melded with the stress of work to put me in a position of chronic anxiety eventually resulting in rather acute physical symptoms (mainly gastro-oesophageal reflux) and chronic fatigue. In addition I have long suffered from skin conditions which I realised were most likely stress-related. This was accompanied by a real wearing down of my mental state so that I was frequently feeling depressed, and experienced an acute lack of self-confidence and self-esteem. My physical and mental states were eventually just feeding into each other with everything intensifying over time.

It all came to a head when I experienced a major panic attack that brought me to hospital thinking that I was experiencing a heart attack. This particular episode came out of very real physical symptoms but more importantly left me with a long-term health anxiety, whereby to varying degrees, I was obsessed with the idea that something was wrong with me: namely that I had cardiovascular, pulmonary or gastric problems. Visits to specialists in all these fields have confirmed that there is nothing physically wrong with me (apart from mild reflux) and that this is all stress related.

When I initially went to see Perizat I could only describe how I felt as being like a mummy, a half-dead thing with very little sense of enthusiasm for virtually anything and completely lacking energy even for meagre tasks. My shoulders and back felt all scrunched up, so tight with months of tension and stress. My knees were hurting from chronic lack of sleep. All I could do was sleep and shuffle around the house not achieving very much at all each day.

I can say categorically that within the first three sessions, I had made massive progress. My energy had made a remarkable comeback as had my enthusiasm for socialising. I no longer felt as physically tense. At the end of a two week intensive period of daily sessions, we were able to make significant progress, with my physical symptoms almost entirely gone: I no longer felt fatigued, no longer felt tension in my shoulders and back, where I had developed hard ‘lumps’ on my shoulders (tense muscle) this had gone! The very itchy dermatitis covering almost the entire outer calf of my right leg was gone, and my mental state was much more positive and outward looking.

I would have stayed longer except that I needed to leave the country again for work reasons. I have since had the opportunity to have a further set of sessions on another short stay in the country. Whether short-term intensive course or a set of sessions over a longer period of time, I am convinced that Perizat’s methods work.

How effective this is will vary between individuals, but in my case this has been a turning point in the way I approach health of mind and body. I am not in any way suggesting that I am turning my back on the medical profession. Rather, I now feel I have a more constructive basis to deal with my mind and body (the importance of energy), and powerful practical techniques (EFT and Acupressure) to take more control of my life where stress begins to threaten the daily balance.

You quickly see that Perizat’s practice is not only based on many years of experience but also on a personal drive to do the best for her clients. She not only strives to set up a programme tailored to your needs, but also gives you the tools to ensure continuity between sessions and after ending your therapy. Moreover, her sensitivity to her clients’ personal needs and each individual’s therapy process is marked by her kindness and patience as a practitioner as well as a person.

From my personal experience I highly recommend Perizat’s services. I think that whatever you’re suffering from, you are likely to find relief - if not outright ‘cure’ - in working with Perizat and it is well worth investing some time and money in at least trying it out."

Depression and various physical pains:

Neuralgia:

“Dearest Perizat ….Thank you so much I still cannot believe the fact that I am not getting this excruciating neuralgia pain anymore, I am free! I thought I would never get rid of it. I had tried so many methods including medicine of course. I kept on expecting to get the pain again after we finished the treatments and never did, thank God. I really cannot believe that it has gone….. now my extreme anger has almost gone too. I do not feel this constant unreasonable anger at everything and everybody. Now I get angry only when it is a serious provocation, and even then I hold my middle finger as you told me and take 18 or 36 deep breaths, I relax and feel it subsiding until it is gone! Yes I do remember to smile and relax my shoulders too; after all you have reminded me of that often enough! and you were right of course, when calm I can handle the situation much better with much more positive results. Spinal and Hip problems:

“Dear Perizat, I have to tell you my good news. I went to my doctor today to check my spine and hips and guess what; I do not have to have a hip operation anymore. He even told me that the scoliosis has straightened out but there is still some lordosis left. I am so relieved! Depression and strong Anxiety due to transfer due to Economic crisis.

"I am leaving Greece but wanted to let everyone know how helpful Perizat Hamdy has been to me in my difficult times. As many know, she specializes in EFT (emotional freedom technique) and Jin Shin Jyutsu(acupuncture without the needles) for healing emotional and physical issues. I was very skeptical about this actually working when I first started. Very quickly I was surprised to see that it really did work. My face cleared up, and I had more energy. You can heal yourself by holding your fingers!
Jin shin Jyutsu Self Help Finger Holds:

Jin Shin Jyutsu offers easy self help techniques, which can help you treat both emotional and physical discomforts. Here I am including the various finger-“holds” and their benefits.
Do not be surprised at the healing power of your fingers. All the energy meridians in your body end up in your fingers and toes. Therefore holding those for a length of time, balances the energy meridians ending up in the particular finger or toe.
All you have to do is wrap your one hand around each finger of the other hand as mentioned below.

• For Maintenance you can hold each finger for a minimum of 3min, 5min would be better. In general it would be highly beneficial to get in the habit of holding your fingers –each at a time- whenever you do not need to use your hands. Like if you are waiting in traffic, watching a film, or waiting in some office, or waiting for an internet download etc….

• If you are having or are expecting to have strong emotions, such as anxiety, fear, anger, sadness etc… Or have physical problems of the ones mentioned below; it is best to hold the corresponding finger for at least 20 minutes. You will observe the emotional problem subside and disappear. For the physical problem, I suggest you apply this for 20 minutes 3 times a day.

Hold your THUMB to help treat the following:

What is Energy Healing?

Ancient traditional healing systems are founded on the principle that in order to heal the body, the person must strengthen, harmonize and balance the life energy within. The simple procedure of placing the hands in certain positions on the body according to knowledge of how and where the energy flows, has been used by many cultures throughout the centuries. It was used in Ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, China and Japan among other civilizations. The same principles provide the basis for acupuncture and acupressure. JIN SHIN JYUTSU is the distillation and refinment of the total body of knowledge handed down from these ancient and proven healing techniques.

How does JIN SHIN JYUTSU WORK?

Jin Shin Jyutsu employs over 60 energy points along a network of energetic pathways (meridians) that nourish life within our body. When, throught the Tension and Stress of daily living one or more of these pathways become blocked, the resulting stagnation can disrupt the local area and eventually disharmonize the complete path of the energy flow. This results in discomforts which if ignored would lead to illnesses of all sorts. Complicated illnesses such as cancer, heart disease or autoimmune diseases indicate big blockages of energy. While simpler disharmonies such as indigestions or common cold, arise out of smaller blockages. Any disharmony regardless of its size can bel helped by freeing up the stagnant energy!

Jin Shin Jyutsu is practiced by placing fingertips onto those acupoints in specific combinations appropriate for unblocking particular pathways and restoring the free flow of energy. This automatically releases the stresses and tensions and reawakens the natural healing abilities of the body.

Can Jin Shin Jyutsu be used with other therapies?

JSJ can be safely used in conjunction with any other therapy or medication. It is used with conventional medicine to help facilitate the healing process. JSJ can be used preventively to maintain a sense of well being, relaxation harmony and good health.

What happens during a session?

In a typical JSJ session, which lasts about an hour, the client remains clothed and lays face up on a massage table. The session begins with listening to the energy pulse in the wrists. This reveals information about the current flow of energy and the state of being of the client. It indicates where she or he needs help. The remaining treatment consists of applying the fingertips to various points in various combinations until free flow and balance is restored. There is no pain, no bone or muscle manipulation. There is no use of any substances. It si a gentle , non-invasive, deeply destressing way of helping the body to heal itself. And in most cases it occurs rather rapidly. Chronic diseases will take more sessions to cure. Naturally, the larger the blockages and the longer they have been in the body, the more applications are required to clear them. History:

JIN SHIN JYUTSU is an ancient, evolving healing technique, the earliest records of which were found in the "Kojiki"- an ancient Japanese sacred text dating about 700 BC.
Mary Burmeister - Japanese first generation American- studied JSJ in Japan under the healing master Jiro Murai who has actually revived this form of healing. She brought it to the west ealry 1950's.
